CHECKING AND SETTING CERTIFICATES Each HAZET and TOHNICHI torque device is equipped with a checking and setting certificate , stating that the tool was tested in compliance with standards UNI-EN 26789 (DIN-ISO 6789) in the manufacturer's internal laboratory, equipped with very high precision instruments. These devices are tested and regularly checked in a DKD-K 09301 (ACCREDIA equivalent) accredited setting laboratory by the Schatz Company of Remscheid (D) for HAZET products, and according to the JAPAN QUALITY ASSURANCE ORGANIZATION standard by the Murakami Koki company for the TOHNICHI products. The Checking and Setting Certificate from the manufacturer contains the following details: - Type of torque device, manufacturer, model and serial number. - Tightening capacity, testing instruments and references to the primary samples. - Checked values and tolerances. - Date of the test and the tester's signature. For HAZET the certificate is available in 5 languages (Italian, German, Spanish, French, and English) and also includes an indication of the KPIL-faktor necessary for subsequent adjustments and settings. We suggest routine checks depending on the type of tool, at intervals of a maximum of 12 months. 2. INSPECTION REPORTS This service is performed internally by our S.A.T. department, and is available only for devices that are 100% operative and that can be adjusted to the required values without the need for repair work or the replacement of any parts (it may possibly include the replacement of certain smaller elements, such as the "Cube and Seeger rings"). 3. ACCREDIA SETTING CERTIFICATE A document issued exclusively by an LAT accredited setting centre . This certificate is officially valid in Italy and, with a mutual agreement, in European countries participating in the EA (European Cooperation for Accreditation). It certifies that the tool was set according to the procedures acknowledged by the primary relevant institutions. ACCREDIA certified control devices for torque wrenches, gauge blocks, thermometers and sample pressure gauges, etc. are normally used as "primary company samples" for subsequent setting of other tools. 4. REPAIRS When a torque device can no longer be adjusted for setting purposes and/or has damaged parts, repair work is necessary. The repairs may be performed internally, or even by our partners, HAZET and TOHNICHI . It is impossible, in this case, to specify a unitary price, as each individual case is different. For each repair operation, a quote is offered to the client, and the repair work proceeds only after written authorisation. The quote includes the cost of repairs such as spare parts and labour, as well as the cost of setting operations. Each repaired device is equipped with an «ABC Control Certificate» or a «Control and setting certificate from the manufacturer", from HAZET/TOHNICHI .
